BIG Live was incorporated in December 2007 to leverage the energy and experience of live entertainment. BIG Live will create and co-create through a joint venture, or acquire IPRs of large format live events across the following genres: general entertainment & awards; music; lifestyle and sports. BIG Live will work across the value chain and thereby conceptualise, market and execute these events. By leveraging the internal captive platforms, BIG Live will provide brands with multiple touch points to engage with relevant consumers across media platforms.

Indian Television Awards:
BIG Live in partnership with the Indian Television Academy has marketed the biggest awards for the Television fraternity. The Indian Television Awards is the biggest night for the small screen where the stars are facilitated for their work. In the special honours category superstar Amitabh Bachchan was honoured for achieving 'Ultimate Eminence' in the world of Entertainment, encompassing Cinema, Television & Media. Star Plus partnered the event as broadcast partners and the program aired on 31st December 2007 garnering an average rating of 5.6 across Hindi speaking markets.

Rock with Sonu:
BIG Live conceptualized and marketed the whirlwind 5day -5 city tour with Indian Rockstar Sonu Niigaam. Close-up 'Rock with Sonu' concert kick started in Chandigarh on April 16th to packed audiences followed by performances in Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore & Mumbai on April 17th, 18th, 19th & 20th April respectively.

BIG Live partnered with BIG 92.7 Fm to create the first ever radio reality show. The 'Sing with Sonu' contest winners Sulabh, Manjira, Samaayan, Deepak & Rohit, chosen from the cities of Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Delhi & Chandigarh performed on stage with Sonu Niigaam. They were selected after going through the rigorous and meticulously put together rounds of on-air & on-ground auditions, judged by various celebrity singers and followed by voting sessions.
